Anna joins us from the corporate world of football sponsorship where, for over six years, she was part of the European team at Castrol that successfully introduced a new strategic direction for its sponsorship programme. That change was to football and Anna was core to the success of both Castrol’s sponsorship of EURO 2008™ and of 2010 FIFA World Cup™. Anna was responsible for developing programmes to support employee engagement, external communications and PR, and a ticket and hospitality solution to service the global demand.
Prior to the change in sponsorship direction, Anna was responsible for the exploitation of Castrol’s many motorsport sponsorships in Europe and negotiation of new partnerships with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). Anna’s love of motorsport comes from her stint as Commercial Manager with Triple Eight Race Engineering, the team behind the most successful British Touring Car team in history – VXRacing. Anna managed the relationship with Vauxhall and was responsible for the team’s livery and branding, as well as recruiting new sponsorship partners.
Anna began her career with BT, on the graduate training scheme, and pursued a number of global roles with in External Affairs, the CSR team and BTOpenworld. She has a BA Hons degree in Economics and Public Policy and the CIM Diploma in Marketing.
